| claiming lair
the most common place among mares to look for a new herd and mate, the mare meadow (as it is often referred to) is divided up into three equal (or almost) halves: the dark side, the light side, and the neutral. the neutral side is misty and sort of foreboding yet intriguing, the dark side is extremely dark, making it very difficult for a horse to see his own appendages. the light side is, pretty much, like living in a fairy tale: it's so completely different than the other sides, it's frightening...

| the bellicose rocks
a most unpleasant place to be, the rocks of this land are usually covered in the hide and blood and of other horses. it's said that a very strange recluse with metallic like teeth lives in one of the massive, twisting, winding caves on the premises...

| birthing beach
in spring, massive amounts of mares can be found here giving birth to their offspring. stallions are permitted, but it's not exactly common of him to be here, as he should be at his lands protecting his lands...

| breeding bay
this bay is extremely romantic, as it should be. however, there's a much more... evil.

| homeless lands
the mares, stallions, and foals who do not have home live here in a very lush territory. it's a great place to look for a companion, or just a member to add to your herd.

| bone mountain
an aged horse may finally rest in peace here, if (s)he wishes.

| the great mountain
mother nature is said to be the creator of the equine species, which she molded after herself. no one has ever seen her, but there are several different stories on what she might look like. anyways, it's very possible that she sat atop this mountain while she created the animalia species. if that is true, she must live here, right? but, the great mountain is a wonderful place to escape herd life and relax.

| haunted hallows
the ghosts of the horses that were to evil to make it home to mother nature haunt this depressing, barren hole in the ground.

| swan lake
the vegetation is lush, the ground below the greenery almost always moist. the crystal clear streams leading to the great lake with a very large flock of swans living on it, only something so incredibly beautiful could belong to such an incredibly pure family: the royal light family.

| cryptic cemetery
right across the borders from the light territories lie the gloomy, depressing, and often hellish lands of the darks, and of course, the royal dark family. the black clouds breathe down the necks of the miserable creatures that live here, the sometimes unpredictable weather teaches the law kill or be killed, the suspense of the next attack leaves everyone jumpy and suspicious, but most importantly, the strong family ties that no one would ever think would exist here keep this family of royals on constant edge of insanity.

| nowhere land
nowhere land is exactly what it sounds like: it is nowhere. it's in the heart of the neutral lands, and is a barren desert. the red sands and the occasional oasis are a strain on the royal neutrals, yet a comfort. they know the territory like they know their (so-called)"impure" royal bloodline. they have learned to survive without water and food for long stretches of time, though it's avoided if it can be helped.
